    Hello there,
1st time to use boards so forgive if etiquette not up to scratch! ;)Our labrador has dug, peed and pooed our back garden into a cabbage patch dump over the past 3 yrs. She chews and shreds everything in sight including clothes on clothes line, digs holes and won't go to toilet in same spot. Planning on digging it up and putting gravel/pebbles down, plus a dog run onto shed.Side entrance is 6 foot so hoping a mini digger will fit through. Any ideas of where to hire mini digger, skip and get gravel cheap in the Kildare area? Any ideas on what is the best way to lay gravel?DIY novices so keeping it simple and on a tight budget. Might be looking for a dog obedience trainer too! Tnxs :)

Depends on where in Kildare but there's a hire shop beside Tesco in Maynooth and they have a minidiger on display at the front. It's a small machine but looks like it would do the trick. Most mini diggers will fit through a 6feet opening. There's a dog cage/fence on adverts that would be ideal for keeping them in their place. http://www.adverts.ie/showproduct.php?product=51759&cat=all
As reguards gravel, try avoid buying by the bag as it works out expensive. Phone around a few quarries in the golden pages and find somebody with a trailer/small truck that will deliver.

Try the Golden Pages for hire shops, most will have a miniature digger that will fit through a normal house door, so 6' shouldn't present you with a problem.
