I noticed last night that BBC3 and BBC4 have disappeared from the epg on my ntl Pace set top box. Has this happened to anyone else? All the other channels are present

Can't do that at the moment, but will try it when I get home. Thanks for the tip. Is this really something that happens regularly? Is there any point in me ringing ntl/upc to report it to them?

Help and yellow also reset the box and usual sorts out that problem.
There is two newer boxes available if you ring UPC. They could do a straight swap for the Pace DC621KU which cost nothing or go for the dvr which will cost you a fiver extra a month. Both come with a new epg thats alot more reliable.

Do the new (not DVR) boxes have the 8 day or a three day guide? Do they have modems?

Same guide as the DVR Paul, and it has a modem inside all ready for VOD and interactive services.
