Software for a G3 power mac?

A mate of mine was given a G3 by a friend of his and he wants me to help him with it. He wants to use it with his band and wanted something like Pro Tools on it. But since it's an old mac, I don't think it'll run the newer OS's (tiger or lepard) and so the newer software won't run on it either. Does anyone know of any…

Does anyone know of any software that will run on a G3? I was wondering if it's still possible to get an older copy of Pro Tools as abandonware or for cheap somewhere.
