I know a girl who did a course in there a few years ago and said it was very good.

Pretty intense i.e LOTS to learn!

Hmm not sure of the name of the teacher but the course is a part time evening and Saturday - Diploma Course in Holistic Massage.

It does sound pretty intensive as your friend was saying Blanco... has she found it easy to get work with it?

That centre gives some students work experience after the course.

What usually happens is that you'll have to go on your own.

My friend was hired by the place after her course, so I wouldn't really know.

As far as I'm aware, therapists in other centers aren't hired as full time staff. They find their own clients, and just hire the rooms by the hour.

Oh I didn't know about that place, had a look at their website it looks good too - ITEC qualification too is that right? Are you working in massage now? Thanks!

That's great thanks a million, actually went for a massage on Saturday in the Dublin Holisitc Centre to see what it was like, good for research (and good excuse to get one too!) I'd recommend it, very good.

it is ITEC papers yes.. it was very good, did it few years ago.
Im not working at it, i actually just really enjoy learning and wanted to learn it - if i want to do beauty therapy i now have 3/4 modules already covered, significantly reducing the stress load.! I did enjoy it, lots of study involved - but enjoyable.
    I found it great!
