How well do these two shows encapsulate the differences between
the genders?

I never really got Sex in the City yet am in hysterics at peep show.
my other half is disturbed to get this invaluable insight into the male
mind. i think she may break up with me because of this show.

Peepshow is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

it's hilarious, it captures all men's insecurities and I have so much in common with both characters it's unbelievable. Is it popular in Ireland?

fairly popular, although i do know some guys who think it should be banned as a modern form of witchcraft. i think they're just insecure Calvinists.

Peepshow is the greatest comedy series ever. Fact.

So few people know about it though which is disappointing, it appears to have more of a a cult following. I've introduced it to my siblings who now believe it's the greatest show on earth.

I've also recently found a little clique in work of people who like Peep Show

Anyone who has never seen this before, check it out. It really is worth it.

No.. thats the hilarious IT Crowd.

Peep Show is one of the funniest programs on tv. Its younger brother (IMO) The Inbetweeners is hilarious as well.

Peep Show is definately the most original comedy program of the past few years. Seeing things from first person and the characters internal monologue going is just genius. The writings fantastic too.

Back when I lived in houseshare land we'd have Peep Show nights, where we'd all sit in drinking and watching it, currently my favourite telly program!

I wouldn't say it's a male version of SATC. Peep Show is actually funny while SATC is muck which is watched because it's seen as aspiational.
