I've got hundreds of books at home in PDF format which would be pretty handy for work. I move around a lot from area to area but there's always a PC near me. For quick access, I was thinking it'd be handy if I got an 8Gb or 10GB USB key and throw them all on that. Is there any Google Desktop style software I could put on…

For quick access, I was thinking it'd be handy if I got an 8Gb or 10GB USB key and throw them all on that. Is there any Google Desktop style software I could put on it that I could open it, type a few words and have the results come up speedily, much like Spotlight does on my Macbook.

Anyone have a solution for me?
