sata300 drive with a sata150 mobo ??

hello ! I want to upgrade the hard drive units in my tweaked poweredge sc400 dell server. I know the mobo has support for sata 150 only but what i don't know is if the sata300 aka sata II drives have backwards compatibility and will work with this mobo . this is what i want to use :

I googled the issue but wasn't able to find a clear response so please help me ....

They do, you just need to set a jumper as instructed (On the hard disk label)

100% positive all drives have the jumper option ? not to sure about that ....

I'm pritty sure they do m8, well the 500gig sammys I have (not the F1 series) do have it I'm sure, although you might be better off waiting for a 100% confirm I'm sure they all do though as sata150 is still common enough

yeah ... I figure the same ... don't think samsung would implement this option only on selected models or series ... i'm convinced now
