    On my NCT report, there's a head light aim failure on the "Right" side. Is that the driver's or passenger's side???

    On which side is your steering wheel ? :D

    Left and right in that kind of context should always be seen in the direction of travel of the car (going forward) ...so the right side would be the drivers side

    Left/right in a car is always determined from the drivers seat, facing forward.

    and near side, refers to the side nearest to the kerb, parked properly
