Individually, Vampires and Werewolves are much more dangerous, but they don't come in hordes that easily spread the condition.

From the options its got to be Zombies.

50% of a werewolves breeding stock comes from man. They need us.

A Vampire requires a flock of humans to feed upon. They need us.

Skeletons grow inside us. They need us!

What about the sneaky little changeling bastards?

Individually, I think a werewolf would have the largest chance of killing you, as they are fast, nigh on invulnerable, and lack nearly all the weakness even a Vampire has. They also have somewhat human level intelligence.

I would have to pick Zombies really. The thing with vampires and werewolves is that they're very limited- vampires are only a problem in the night and werewolves only 3 days a week.

However nothing changes with Zombies; their numbers can swell dramatically in a few hours (considering that it usually takes around 3 hours for someone to turn)

    Well done, I LOL'ed

Boney I think your forgetting a few options in the poll there ?
    Graboids
    Molemen
    Aliens
    Gerry & Kate Mc Cann

Skeletons arent really a threat are they ? I wouldnt have classed them as that myself.

Out of the existing poll i'd have to say zombies though

There can be only one way that this can end. Anything less than a 100% vote for Z's means that we need to get out and start educating the masses.

Most modern theories on werewolves believe there is three days when they HAVE to change, the rest of the time they can will the change, or will do so under duress (a good reason not to pee on a tree in a forest while drunk)

Vampires often manipulate society through important people they tempt with the offer of immortality. Piss off a vamp and your life can suddenly fall apart.

I voted Zombie... but I think I've changed my mind already.

Zombies are slow and stupid. And a little "off with the head" and they're pretty much taken care of. Sure a whole horde of the ****ers can be a little hard to manage... but the right kind of fire power and you'll be doing alright. They're easy to spot and haven't got much fight back.

But Werewolves... those bastards only reveal themselves during full moon - and when you think about it, that could be a huge advantage. Near unstoppable once they've turned, and virtually impossible to detect the rest of the time.

They'd take over the world and you'd barely even notice. Until it's too late.

    Now you're thinking!

More worrying still- there is precedent for Irish Werewolves, depending how you define the term.

CuChulainn had a war form which he shifted shape to when angered.

Two of Fionns sons turned into hounds. No smoke without fire!

The werewolf news is not all bad though: These are creatures of nature, and some believe that in fact they have been created by the Mother Goddess Gaia, as a last line of defence against the destruction of nature. With the strength, cunning, speed and tenacity of wolves, mixed with the intelligence, ingenuity, and opposable thumbs of mankind, it would seem a werewolf mixes the ultimate advantages which appear in the animal kingdom for survival in the modern world.

The rage of a werewolf, is, perhaps, a just rage, indeed.

I don't think skeletons are a threat at all. I mean what are they going to do to you and you can always knock of thier heads and watch them run aroound looking for them like they do in the movies.

Now werewolves on the other hand will destroy you unless you are an unbelievably good shot with a gun and have it loaded with silver bullets and even if you do the are so agile you wont have much of a chance of hitting them. Apart from this weakness they are pretty invulnerable.

Vampires, including Nerin, are pretty strong also however the villagers could storm their castle during the day and drive a stake through their heart.

True zombies, the slow ones, aren't much of a threat in small numbers, however it is when they gather in large hordesthey become a problem because they just keep coming and just don't give up and will outlast anyone who has barricaded themselves in a building.

Man what did I just say about pissing off Vampires? Don't blame me if you get a visit from the Gardai and find your bank account empty and strange children saying "Nerin says Hi."

Also bear in mind that silver bullets tend to deform in the chamber, as its a softish metal. Its a toss up between range but no accuracy or getting close in with a silver blade...

Ha, I laugh at any Vampire that tries to get me in my underwater fortress. Everyone knows Vampires can't touch running water. As for my bank account I don't have one I have a safe in my underwater fortress.

Peronally I would go with the silver knife as then if the Werewolf were to attack me I would at least have a chance of stabbing it while it attacks me.

Remember its not really the Vamp you have to watch out for- it's their renfolds/ghouls!

Zombies have a short shelf-life before decomposing and have to infect humans, they also need us. The difference is they have no strategy or restraint. If given the chance, zombies would happily wipe out humanity without a second (or first) thought. (I doubt zombies could wipe us out but that's for another thread.)

Seems to be the general consensus. I'd say 1 werewolf is worth 10 zombies, minimum!
