I like the composition of the first two but the third one i dont like apart form the coulouring. However they all seem very noisy. Was the iso up high or something.

#1: I like this as a photo except for the red cast.I don't think it fits this kind of shot.Otherwise I like the composition with the pier jutting out from the right and the beached boat at the edge of the shot,I think it would look better though if you cropped some of the empty left side up to a bit beyond the land. This would put more emphasis on the pier and the interesting cloud formation. Also I would crop out the top dark part of the sky as not much is happening there.I'd be really interested in seeing this one with the aforementioned crop and without the red cast.

#2:I like the imposing nature of the boat in this shot but I feel its a bit too tight.I would have preferred to have seen more of the right hand side of the hull,at the moment it looks a bit flat. Also I think a higher contrast would work better with this shot, bringing out the blacks in the hull making it even more imposing.

#3:I really like this one.Great abstract shot.I especially like the scattered light across several of the rocks. My only complaint is the out of focus rock in the right foreground which is a slight distraction.Cloning it out might be a bit difficult so I'd reccomend just cropping the bottom of the shot.

I'd agree with barry, there does seem to be a bit of grain in these shots.I find it's better never to go above ISO 200 unless its really necessary.

    Great work overall

Great stuff Eve, they're kinda massive though - perhaps a little re-sizing and compression would do no harm.

Personally, I like the grain and noise and wouldn't think twice about pushing the ISO up to 1600. But there again I'm used to taking pictures in near-darkness on film. But that's just me - grain rawks - it brings a certain atmosphere to an image.

    quite nice.

Back off a little on the fake colour on the first one though, its a bit much.

As far as the grain is concerned, I like grain, but usually on pictures of people doing stuff, not so much on a static picture of a boat. Thats the kind of pic I;d associate with a nice pin-sharp slide film type look.
