    Hi Guys,

My first post on this board :)

Looking to see if anyone can advise me on where to get low-priced Balls in quantity ?

I have been playing golf on and off for a few years now and have never really taken it that seriously, probably because I was going so infrequently and could never see or indeed measure my improvement or lack thereof ;)

But I have been starting to go more consistently this year and on a recent trip to the US I bought myself a full set of Lynx Hybrid Clubs so I have been trying to step up my game ever since.

I am currently playing off a Handicap of 23 and my local course is Stepaside (tricky little 9 hole near the Step Inn) and I find that I am losing a lot of balls which is steadily beginning to hit the auld wallet !

    Any advice greatly appreciated !

Oh and anyone here play Stepaside regularly ? Your thoughts on the course ?

    Cheers

check out e-bay there's several companies on there who do lake balls and used sets of balls specific to a particular brand, and their fairly cheap.Argos also sell bags of lake balls you'd get a bag of 30 for about 18 yoyos if memory serves me well..hope this helps

Argos, 100 lake balls 4 50E. I dont even bother looking for them when they are lost at that price. Decent grade too I couldnt find cheaper on the net!

Get a lesson or two on how to hit straight and you'll only need the one ball :p
    Only messin!!

Yeah, the heatons offer is quite good. arnotts normally have decent offers as do elverys just off grafton street.

As for Stepaside, Ive played it a few times and will hopefully play it again on Saturday. Greens weren't great the last time I played and there was some drainage work ongoing on the fairways. Nice little course overall though, just a pity theres only 9holes! Second hole always catches me out!

    LOL

Just went out and bought the 100 lake balls from Argos: note they do not come in the nifty little bag as advertised but in a cardboard box lashed together with selotape lol

Wish I had seen that Dunlop offer now...... Sure I'm playing some golf this bank holiday weekend so will be in the market for another 100 balls by Tuesday ;)

Classic, I was playing a round today and out of a bush popped some young lad and offered us balls at 25cent a go. We offered him a fiver for the shopping bag full and he took it.
