    folks,

    bad title i know.

On my latest website i have to explain something through a series of steps.
each step links to a new page with the same header footer and sidemenu etc.

So i basically want some nice graphic that will display the fact i have 3/4 steps and ill make the graphic clickable for each step.

    any ideas.

something simple and basic is all im after

what are the max number of steps ?
    I always liked the ...

    Start - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - End

approach ... with the numbers in circles and a little line connecting them
The current step and previous steps showing up in a darker colour ... Blue maybe and the steps you've not done yet appearing in grey ?
