Op German taxes will kill you! I have a friend working in Ericsson R & D in Aachen. He's a contractor but about 50% of his wages go in tax... Now i know he's able to claim it back when he leaves but it's big chunk to lose.
He's making about 600 euro per day.

    Hi there,

    I sent you a PM.

Otherwise another thing is finding somewhere to live. I don't know directly about Munich but where I lived in Freiburg there was a free paper that
had near monopoly on ads for places for rent.
You rent a place you will need one months rent plus 3 months as deposit.
There is a huge area around Munich because of the good transport system.

If you have been hired you could ask the company that you'll be working for.

Another thing to think about is the Tax Cark SteuerKarte. Everybody needs one for each year. You get this after you have started the job. The HR people will help you here.

That's enough for now. I'll write more if I think of it.
