    Can anyone tell me what are electives in year two, what choices do we have, What is year two like in general compared with first year, i hear its alot more pratical than theory ????

    Dunno what the electives are (there weren't any when i did it) but yeah I'd say theres more lab work in year 2 then 1. Thats not to say there isn't more work or anything but a lot more of the time allocated for the week is labs.

    We were told that we "had" a choice but the subject had to fit into the time table. I belive the majority of us were forced to take German , which got changed to Spanish , and one got to take Irish. I wouldn't worry about choosing a subject 'cause you'll most likly be stick with the Language option.

    As for 2nd year, its mainly lab work. You begin programming in C , more analog crap , CAD again for 1 semister the project.
