Yeah, I've been looking at these for a while and saw that one on carzone. Very tempting.
The LHD wouldn't bother me, but the UK reg and the "needs a little tlc" might.
    Still €8.5 K, Hmm.

Ii always annoys the hell out of me when someone advertises a car at a price, and then they slip in the small print that they haven't bothered their arse paying the VRT on it - so you have to.

It's like paying €60 to fly on a 1 cent Ryanair flight! THAT'S NOT THE PRICE!

Correct, they are a specialist car,
and if bought by the unwary,
will break your heart, and bank balance.

Dare I say it? A bit of a cliché? Like the one I seem to come across on a daily basis when reading about classic cars, the "buy the best one you can afford" advice

I don't know enough about Porsches, but I think with more pedestrian cars the price is not always directly related to the quality of the car. I.e. the most expensive classic is not necessarily the best cared for.

I bought a Capri last year and porposely bought one that will need a respray and new arches and a bit of tidying. Why? well the owner was genuine, had done considerable work already, the car hadn't been sprayed in years and it was basically a case of WYSIWYG. The car was suspiciously cheap, but is genuine and has had no unforeseen faults.
