SLING BOX with Netopia Eircom Router

    Hi All,

    I'm wondering if anyone could help. I got a SLING and i'm having trouble setting up the remote access using my standard Netopia Eircom router. I tried setting the NAT but can't seem to get it too configure properly. If anyone could "baby Step" me through that would be great. I'm hoping my brother will be able to log in from abroad to watch GAA during the summer.

    I set one up for someone a while back using the Netopia modem....there are lots of different types of slingbox but it was fairly straightforward (usually best to restart the modem after each step)

    If you go to that support page there is an online chat app where they can help you out - even connect remotely to your router and set it up. They are fairly handy at doing it.

    In the Netopia setup, you may have to set the Firewall to LOW
