IT jobs market

    Hi

I'll be moving back to Ireland very soon and I was wondering what the IT jobs market is currently like for contract workers. I have a degree in computer applications and I also have 3 years postgraduate experience as a Java Web developer.

I've been living in London for the past two years and I'll be back home (Dublin) within the month and ideally I'd also like to know what the story is regarding salary expectations etc.

    Thanks :)

I don't really know what the general industry is like at the moment but I can say that contracting in IT within the financial services industry has definitely gone down hill recently

The jobs market is ok, but I'd hurry, because there might be a recession on the way.
