Vehicle chargers over in states.

Anyone know if the voltage in the cars (for charging things like a satnav while driving) over in the states is the same as here? Or will I need to get a different in vehicle charger for my satnav over there?

Its all 12v so it will work/charge perfect with the same plug as here.
