Got myself hotel dusk it's called? nice game with alot of twists and turns but can drop into one of those games where you're constantly searching for one event to trigger the onset of story. apart from this i'd recommend it

do you think a 50 year old could handle it? you have to remember that this woman calls her ds her brain training and presumed that was all it did......?

42 all time classics should be a good start.

7 Wonders of the Ancient World is crack cocaine on the DS (simple match 3 tile puzzler, but very addictive).

I've got alot of mileage out of Scrabble DS (the CPU puts up a great fight on later levels).

Crosswords DS is due out in Europe on Friday. It has 3 game types built in - crosswords (duh), Word Search (those big grids of letters where you have to find a list of words) and Anagrams (where you're given 6 letters, and you have to make as many words as you can from them). Hundreds of each, great stylus controls, and its due to be released at a budget price.

if it had a european release I'd recommend

But it doesnt , so unless you fancy importing it....

No seriously. It's up to you in the end but certain things may frustrate her in it. for example, searching the hotel for someone to talk to. or in one of the puzzles, you had to close the DS and open it again to solve it. Some of the puzzles are innovative but there have been about 5 instances so far that left me stumped for hours on end. DON'T get it for her if you think she won't peservere at the game.

If you can get the professor Layton game, i'd recommend that.

And i'm being serious for once about my advice!
