For those who like reflections...

I've been waiting for an opportunity to snap this area but it has always been to breezy, so I saw my chance today.

For those who like reflections. (Again apologies but I still haven't figured out on how to embed them).

The Heron was taken at full zoom using a 70-300mm Sigma DG, so it's probably not the clearest image. The rest were shot using the same lens but at different zooms. Cheers.

Some really great images and wonderful reflections there. Well done.

Nice stuff. The sky is a bit washed out tho. But thats a small gripe!

To imbed the image just take the link to the image. You can copy it from the address bar when you open the ones you've uploaded or in Firefox right click and select copy image location

Then paste the link into So itslink goes here

Lovely shots. Perhaps a nd grad filter also to stop the sky being blown out?

Just make sure you resize them to max width 700 or elven will hunt you down and kill you

    I believe it's up to 800 now :)

Nice pics but some look really noisy. What iso did you use?

It was 1600 on the "P" setting, still in learning mode at the moment. Thanks for the replies, I'm reading up on the ND Grad, but what does max width 700 mean, & how would I do that? (looks over shoulder for elven)

It looks like it was a bright day in those photos, iso1600 is overkill for those conditions.

Try get the same shots with a lower iso if you could be arsed! Start at 100 and if it's too dark work your way up...
