Ok , I know we pay more in Dublin ... but that sounds suspiciously cheap .....

Now perhaps it is fine but i would be concerned that you don't always get what you pay for and an apparent bargain can turn out to be no such thing .

I know this applies in case of high pricing too . And I say again that I am not casting aspargusus' anywhere ..... It simply appears too cheap to me

that price is probably just for the tests....so you need to hire own digger / make holes...etc. I thought the same with some quotes I received but that explained the big difference in my case.

Harrumph... I had to pay 1200euro for an environmental engineer to do a full soil analysis and report in Mayo....

Yes 380 was just for the tests/report, report is perfect though and much the same as all the others giving the same service at double the price.

    EPA Soil Test €450 - €750.
    Depends on person doing test.
All are Registered by the Council, having done the EPA / Fas Course and sat interview with Council.
It was alot more expensive but the price dropped as competition increased, i.e numbers on approved Council list increased.

donegal (inishowen area- sept '07)- I was quoted 350 euro (included vat), but the guy did it for 280 cash. He is council registered - they gave me his name. He happened to live 2 miles away, so might be slightly more expensive if he was required to travel. Did own digger work. He was very thorough and did a good job/report.
