    Hey all,
Ive just finished my PGDE and I am looking hard for a job, but it doesn't seem like there is much out there (for me). Im not in a financial position to just wait around till something comes along, whether that be till Christmas or this time next year. I'm marking exam papers in July, but what I really want to know is, is the PGDE any use to any other job and Im thinking specifically government/civil service type positions??? Is the PGDE only any value to teaching? how do you survive until you get a position, a permanent one and a steady one at that?

Any suggestions would be very gratefully received

    Wellydub
