has anyone ever bought anything off this site. its american and the gear is even way cheaper than english sites.

they say they'll even post the stuff over as a gift to try to avoid paying duty and no matter how much you order its a fixed rate of 25 dollars for postage. I worked out a jacket (leather), pants, gloves, boots (all alpinestars) and helmet (kbc) to cost rougly €600 delivered.

Even if they say it's a gift, it's still liable to duty and the chances of getting caught out are getting higher all the time. Depending on the carrier, you can be stuck for a hefty admin charge too. I would stick to sites within the EU, e.g. Hein Gericke DE is usually a lot cheaper than Hein Gericke UK. Cotters are good for cheap gear, too.

    I'm partial to your abracadabra,

I'm raptured by the joy of it all.
