Hey everybody. I'm heading into 3rd Year in September. Just want to know if any past students know the booklist for the year for the various modules. It would be a great help.

    Design of structures
    Hydraulics
    Continuum mechanics
    Professional engineering
    Soil mechanics
    Analysis of structures
    Geology for civil engineers

The above are amoung the more important modules and I would be delighted if somebody could point me in the right direction as to which textbooks they found helpful.

    Thanks guys

    1) I never used a textbook for any of those subjects.
    2) Are you seriously trying to get started into that already?!

I just wanted an idea. Many of the books I looked for last semester were stolen from the library. Thought I might try and pick up a few cheap buys over the summer if I had an idea of what might be used.
