Hi, was hoping that you could help me come up with a good present for my boyfriend who is mad about classic cars. I would really like to bring him away for a weekend/few days that would incorporate something to do with classics for his birthday which is in September
I would love to bring him over to the Nurnburg (sp!) ring, but his car would not make it onto the ferry!
    any ideas much appreciated

September is when the International Autojumble takes place at Beaulieu Motor Museum

I know its not on in september, but the classic car show in the NEC in birmingham at the end of october every year is a huge show, well worth the look if he hasnt been there before!!And its just beside the airport too, so its easy to get to,and hotels are close!!

Even if you didn't want to go abroad, I've heard there is a company that rents classic cars in county Limerick..

I noticed these guys advertising on Ebay under the classics for sale section.

You can hire a Mgb Roadster, Porsche 911 targa, Jag E-type, and a triumph tr6. The prices seem reasonable too.
    regards

You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

If its his birthday fix his car! Otherwise I would look at hiring a classic in the UK up in Yorkshire or Scotland as the roads are supposed to be excellent and not too busy.
