Add another 50 euro for ten Heineken on the flight...

Oh hold on, I'm not being forced to drink and your not being forced to include a bag.;)

I've just tried to buy a ticket and the page keeps on charging the ticket price.
I'll call them to sort it out.
Scotland, be aware, I am going to ruin your ruins! (I am talking about the castles, not about women...)

The free flights are only at ridiculous hours of the night and morning. A free flight can turn into a 150 Euro flight as little as 90 minutes later...... :(
If you're willing to be at the airport in the dead of the night and return at a ridiculous hour- its brilliant value. If you're sane at all, its ok, but not brilliant. I'd pay a little extra, just to not having to check-in at 4AM in the morning.....

I prefer ridiculous times of travel - fewer people at the airport and I can sleep on a plane. And the more time is left from the whole day.
    I'll check it later again.
    Thanks for clarification.

Didn't the CEO recently tell us that we should not believe offers that seem too good to be true from Aer Lingus?

    Lol well said TM

It is not "so good" offer. Regular prices are about 5 Sterling.

Sorry - it was actually their Director of Corporate Affairs

    http://www.google.ie/search?q=aer+lingus+Corneille+%22too+good+to+be+true
Enda Corneille, Aer Lingus director of corporate affairs ... apologised to the customers concerned.

    ...

"To sell a business class flight for a fiver... that is a genuine mistake, people are going to know that there is something up.

"It is really a case of 'if it looks too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true'," he added.

Its free seats not free flights. Taxes and Duty still have to be paid. I booked 2 adults and 1 child on these free seats (just to see) and it came to about €240. Thats not my idea of free.

Flights are a joke now, with all the baggage fuel and visa charges, plus the norm taxes and charges, which i had a quick look on aerlingus, lowest i seen was €52 for one person. Nearly takes a degree on ryanair to find and book

But there are no Shannon-UK routes, since they closed the Heathrow routes eartlier this year.

Yes- the offer is only on UK flights (at unreasonable hours of the early morning and late night.........)
