Scratched windscreen can it be fixed/polished?

    Hi

    Came out to my car over weekend and the drivers side of the windscreen is scratched about 10/15 times ranging from 3-10 inches. It looks as if a cat or something did a job on it.

    Its not a major major problem but its very annoying seeing as the car is only 3 weeks old and it is noticable when driving into the sun it shows up the scratches.

    Can this be polished etc to conceal the scratches? If so would i go to the likes of autoglass and what would be involved? If it was my old car i wouldnt care in the slightest but i want to maintain my new car status for a little longer than 3 weeks!!!:eek::eek:
