Can anyone tell me what could be wrong with my laptop.
The sound was working fine for the first day then all of a sudden it was gone. A red X appered over the volume tool and in the device manager it said ‘no audio devices’.
It seems to have just diapered. I have only just got all the info I want put on the laptop so I don’t want to re-boot and loose it all.
Anybody have any tips? – in Lehman’s English! :)

Sounds like the driver is missing. You should have got a drivers cd with the laptop. Just find the audio driver on it and you're laughing.
