...to the fabulous lot of ye.

After nearly 4 years over here, I'm moving back to the UK this Summer, and will treasure very fond memories of the "early months" of airsofting in Ireland, skirmishes at the old and current HRTA, most of the regulars/"old hats" in here and over at the IAA.

Thx to teh Interweb, I'll never be further than a pm away and will be able to keep a finger on the pulse in here and elsewhere, as I look forward to witness how the sport carries on growing in the Republic.

Guys -and Gals!- it's been an absolute pleasure right the way through, it's been an honour to play a teeny part, and of course it's been and will continue to be 110% gas for all comers, n00bs and seasoned vets.

Special thx/byes to the Zs (they know who they are ;) ), and to the others of course (they also know who they are :pac: ), and see ya round whenever...

    +1 from me!

It's a shame to see you go, but best of luck with the move back to the UK ambro. Irish airsoft has lost a valuable contributor imo. So from another Z'er; good luck and all the best!

Best of luck to you Ambro. So the rumours of you becoming a porn star in the UK were correct. :p Who would have thought! ;)

If you are still here next weekend, we'd love to see you down in Duncannon so that we can give you a proper send off (I'm sure they have plenty of nice pubs down there).

    Slan agus beannacht!

Good Gawd, this thread reads like a Who's Who of airsoft on Boards and in Ireland!

We're scheduled to lift off sometime in July, so I'll be sure to try and make at least one more (fair weather  ) skirmish, but I've gotta get my health back up to scratch first (not been well for a while), then take care of a gazillion other stuff that I've thought of and haven't yet thought of, before I can 'go out and play' ;)

Thank you all for your kind words - to me, this just sums up the community down to a T :)

Wow man it'll be sad to see you go, you played an immeasurable part in the creation of the IAA and were a great assest to Airsoft in Ireland.

I'd suggest a 21 gun salute at the airport when you're leaving but I get the impression it wouldn't go down too well, so a farewell game it is :D

Oh is there any chance you could take Hivemind with you? :D

Congrats on the job Ambro, it's sad to see you go. You've done a hell of a lot of work for airsoft in Ireland and we all appreciate it greatly. You're a damn fine skirmisher and one of the nicest people I've met carrying a rifle, you're a yardstick to those who come after you.

The old HRTA tanker will miss you too...

It's a sad day to see one of the first airsofters and a very valuable
contributor to the irish airsoft community go, and not just an airsofter but a dear friend to all that have had the pleasure to meet you.
    farewell dear friend,
    paul & mel,
    hrta.

ps: if you can make it out us before you go, not just for a game, but just for chat with some friends before you go.
