    golf is 5x100, and most aftermarket alloys for the mkiv are ET35 - 38

    according to some guy in the ad...
    "Offset for Celica T23 99> 5x100 35 to 42 "

    which means that they will fit, as long as you can confirm the above.

    pretty scruffy alloys though, used or new rs4 replica alloys would be nicer imo

    offset is easy to understand, basically the lower the number, the more the wheels will 'stick out'. The higher the number, the more the wheels will go into the wheelarch.

    With a low offset you have to worry about the wheel rubbing the wheelarch. With a high offset you have to worry about the wheel rubbing the shock, spring or wheel well (especially on the front) and generally looking crap.

    Standard Golf wheel or alloy is 4 nuts, these are 5.
