Hi just wondering wether anyone would be able to suggest the best sort of job for me during summer? I'm 16 and will be doing my junior-cert up until the 12th of June. I am just a bit confused because I'm not sure where to really look for a job in the Drogheda area?

Go for shelf stacking in Tesco/Dunnes or glass collecting in bars/hotels or wash-up in restaurants/cafés/hotels.

    Good luck!

Take anything you can get! Everyone will be hunting for jobs now, and a lot will have already sorted summer work! Look anywhere, from shops to bars.

Not many places looking, only places I've found was House of Frazer (got a letter the other day saying I haven't been employed) and Pennys O'Connell St. (waiting on a reply). Your best bet is ask family and friends.

That House of Ireland gift shop place is always looking for staff. Is there one of those in Drogheda OP?

No I don't think so. Yeah guess I'll have to see if any of the supermarkets etc. would take me on. I wonder would anyone be interested in letting me babysit or walk their dog? Not many people probably trust 16 year olds nowadays. :(

Just after emailing them a CV and a Cover Note as they're looking for Part-Time staff.:D Cheers for the tip Dudess and some trusty browsering the web by myself.
