Memory Card Problem

    Not sure if this is the correct forum, so maybe you can redirect it if possible.

    I have a major problem. After a recent holiday, I realised my memory card/camera would not show any of the photos taken.

    I tried connecting this to the computer to see if I could get my photo's that way, but the card could not be read long enough. ie it would register on the computer and as the thumbnails were about to appear the memory card could not be found.

    My problem is, the card initially registers and then within the space of secs, it disappears again, tried copyin really fast etc but to no avail

    I brought it to the shop and they said some of the images are there, some are corrupt and the card is impossible to read and the photos impossible to get off the card.


    I'm still hoping there's a chance to save some of photo's from my holiday.
    Its heart breaking.

    So if any1 who's had a similar prob or may be able to help, please pm or message here
