There's a pricelist on Pixels' website which should be about average:

You can print as small as you like from the same size file - what to watch out for is the aspect ratio though. Don't want to lose bits off the sides!

Probably pay about 10-12 euro for about 50 4x6's in the likes of harvey norman blanchardstown. Photo shop on top level of Blanchardstown used to do a nice job too for similar prices but last time i was in they seemed to be closed down (haven't been back in a while - maybe just renovations at the time).

Re: photo size - the likes of the self serve kiosks will usually allow you do a little editing which in the case of the harvey norman ones (fuji branded) allows you to control the size. The normal digital crop stuff is important as if you want 5x7 print's from something with a size ratio suitable for 6x4 then you'll get indiscriminate cropping - consistent but still flippin indiscriminate. So its worth your while playing with the kiosk uploader (don't mind the queue building behind you). Unless its a photo lab/shop that you are going to the staff in these joints usually won't want to be helpful as converting a batch of these will take time. At best and if they are knowledgeable enough they may show you how to do it. I found a look of "i don't want to be here" and a response of "i don't know very much about crops" from one such assistant. Hmnnn.... why are they called assistants if they..... ah.... nevermind...

Eitherways its well worth time taking that time at the machines.

    Cheers.

    thanks both,
im talking about handing in the cd and receiving prints pretty much asap or within an hour. Fuji film on georges st still open and do this?
Also thought maybe normal camera shops did this too? like camera exchange?

    thanks.
Their not anything special, so might just resize them myself to avoid stretch or odd crops.

Camera exchange do a one hour service (from cd/other media format).. and they will print entire photo so you can crop/cut off edges yourself if any excess. :)
