Am gonna get myself a 22 inch monitor, prob from hardwareversand.de..

I know a fair bit about pc's, nothing about monitors though, I currently have a 7900gs graphics card in my machine, a 22 inch will be fine with that?

I play a few old games, but mostly use it for surfing and I want the 22 inch for watching films mainly..

This is the one I am interested in

The Asus.. (seems v good value)

Or is it really justified to spend 45 euro more to get the Samsung Syncmaster ..?

    thanks

Hi Jonny, thinking about doing the same myself, just going to thrown this in the mix to see what you and the others think of it:

    It could well be a piece of $hit but it's E155 & 25 postage, very cheap for a 22".
It's a shame no 22" supports 1920x1200, only 24+" as that resolution would be sweet for games/hd movies

If I was getting a monitor now, I'd probably get that asus one. Looks like a bargain for the price.

Going by the pictures that looks like a re-badged Benq monitor.

Use one of those myself and I love it to bits. Seeing as you're playing older games, they most likely won't have widescreen support though, so will look pretty crappy when stretched... (the graphics card should be up to the task though, so long as they're fairly old)
Tis a great monitor for watching movies and playing games that support widescreen resolultions, but I can't really compare it to anything else
