    Hi guys,

I'm doing a clearout and want to sell my Pioneer DJM 300 Mixer.

Does anyone know what a fair price for it might be? It's in excellent condition and was rarely used.

    Thanks

Well honey that's a pretty dated model but Pioneer is a great brand, the DJM series are fantastic. I have not heard one single bad word against them from anyone. The only minor gripe is about the DJM400 only being a 2 channel.

For a second-hand DJM300 you would get €60 - €70 pretty easily from a newcomer. You could push for €110 - €120 if you're not bothered about a quick sale. It's a pity because it is a good little mixer, it's just that you could get a very flashy, effects loaded mixer these days for €200 - €250 brand new.

I reckon a budding DJ would be better off starting out with a more basic mixer. All those effects can be distracting and you could find yourself playing with those too much and not emersing yourself in the basic fundamentals. But that's just my opinion.
