another finished college, what am i entitled to thread..

    im finished college for good after 3 years, in a lot of debt to banks and cant find a job. jus alot of "you have no experience" replies from recruitment agencies and nothin from handin out cvs. dont wanna do 3 years leavin cert, 3 years commerce course to find the economy doenst have a job for me and im left completely poor..

    went in today and im eligable for jobseekers assistance and have my interview on wednesday. my questions are:

    should i have rejection letters from the places i've tried? the guy in the office wasnt clear about that at all..

    am i gonna be means tested? so shud i bring a bank statement? and how does it actually work...

    what else am i entitled to? am i eligable for rent allowance or any other benefits



    k if ya jus try and put urself in my shoes, what wud ya do? finished college, in alot of debt and it seems no job prospects wit a commerce degree from nuig.

    Yes, get a detailed bank statement from the last six months.

    Go to your local Health Board and check with them.

    Get a job in Aldi/Lidl/Tesco/Dunnes and work your way up from there.

    if i cant get a bank statement, they have to be posted? will there be arrears as it will next week till i can successfully completely the interview
