Just thought i d say it here as well.
Had a work dinner on Friday and then they decided to go to Dicey Reilly's...
Anyway, was dragged there, here started the rip-off

    - had to pay 5€ in
    - 6€ a pint
    - The best now to come: 1.50€ for a dash of lime!!!!

Could not believe it, seriously, they must be thinking they re in Ibiza!

Also, the bouncers are sooooo annoying, basically you cant do nothing! I just arrived and was standing on the stairs from the bar to the beer garden for litterally 5 seconds looking for the rest to follow...bouncer comes to me: " You cant stay on the stairs, ..blabla blabalbla"
Later in the night, 2 friends at a table, i m taking a chait to join, being careful not to be in the way, ...bloody bouncer again: " you cant sit there" so i got annoyed myself and told him they were fecking annoying constantly telling you off doing what you want. If i was causing trouble OK but i was just sitting at a table, which THEY placed there, should have suggested to move the whole furniture maybe,
    Anyway, wont be going back!

And this is the Dance music section why? I didn't think Dicey Reilly's played anything approaching (proper) dance music?

Tivoli is cheaper than my local (in Kildare). Tripod is 5c/pint more expensive than it. Clubs aren't the problem price wise; pubs and meat markets (anywhere owned by Capital Bars, for instance) are.

Not really for this section but Dublin in general is a complete and utter rip off, that Diceys is a dump of the highest proportions i was @ a 30th there last month, €6 a pint and a 20 min queue every time you wanted a beer  dedided to go somewhere different last Saturday so went to Floridata (formerly Life Bar) now a Cuban bar, a tenner in but fcuking €11 for a Mojito  scandalous, is it any wonder i don't socialise in town much thesedays, in fairness to Tripod they only charge a fiver a pint and it's the best of a bad bunch in Dublin as regards clubs.
