airsofty was looking to give away his acm m14 because of a broken motor
but i thought it would be a good project / practise gun for him to enter the world of air softing

1st he would nee a new motor

    is this good enough

i suppost a new hop packing and tightbore at the same time
    what else would be needed?

it all depends on how much he wants to spend, getting the thing running again would only require a new motor, i've heard the m14's have fairly good range and accuracy out of the box, so if he's happy enough with it as is, then i wouldn't bother touching the barrel or hopup.

As KD said just get a motor for it, Myself and SniperSight got new M14's and the range is BRILLIANT out of the box, all the guys in G-Tac yesterday were well impressed as were we.
Mine is the M14 Socom and his is the standard long barrell M14.

be careful of messing with then hop on them, there pretty fragile and very easy to break.,

Install new shims and busings . It will prolong live of gearbox and may increase rof.
