Can I use Lidl Dish with sky box

    Just wondering if I can use a Lidl disk (80cm) with a sky box for FTA channels ? anybody know ?

    Yes, once its pointing at the right satellite it will work. I did a similar setup for a friend of mine.

    As tony said, search is your frined :). I had the same issues when I started out first couldnt find anything.

    Once you know your hardware is ok, look at other dish's in the area to get the general direction (once its high enough to clear any obstructions aswell). Other main tip I can give you is try to have it on a proper mount, where you can easily adjust the dish left/right a bit.

    sky boxes have a good page on signal strenght/lock of satelitte. when you start to see theses locking in your almost there.

    One tip that I got at the weekend was to rotate the LNB - apparently this can make a HUGE difference.....hadn't realised that!

    rotate about this / angle very slow and watch quality. yes.
