    Hi

I was experimenting at the weekend with RAW, how do I convert it to JPEG's to upload for online storage?

Should have left it as it was but had been reading about RAW on here.

Did your camera give you any software with it? I know that Canon usually give a disk of DPP which can do a batch conversion.

yeah But not at home and trying to edit them on adobe photoshop elements.

should I resize them maybe then try and save as jpeg?

    God I am useless.

Some versions of elements don't support the latest camera raw converters. Check Adobe for more details. You may have an older version of elements, and a new camera that requires the latest version of Adobe camera raw.

    Thanks

I think I managed it, posted some pics from it.

    Different settings etc...

Will keep practicing though as love being behind the camera.

Picasa2 also does raw conversions I think...

It's a free download from google.

Picasa is great. You can extend Picasa with picasa2flickr to post the images to flickr for online storage if you don't want to use picasa web albums.

What software is best for procesing raw files.

I have CS3, and the canon software.

If I want to adjust say white balance, should I go straight to CS3 and do it with all other adjustments. Or should I adjust and convert in the canon software and bring the adjusted jpeg into CS3

There are two canon programs on the disk, "Raw image task" and "DPP", i'm guessing the latter is best.
