Where are you from in Ireland yourself (if you are form Ireland that is) and what do you want from the weekend away - Scenery, Craic, Relaxation ? What sort of distance are you willing to travel etc ? If your flying in what airport ?

What kind of weekend are you looking for - boozing, sightseeing, relaxing, golfing, etc?

From my experience Kerry is the business. Plenty of stuff to do down there, not full of tourists at this time of year. Some very nice hotels. You could probably take a surfing class or something like that if that interested you.

Not too far of a drive from Dublin either.

Dingle is the business for a night out I find, i've never had a bad night in Dingle.
