Anybody see "The Counterfeiters"? Great movie based in a concentration camp in WWII. No well known actors and in German (with subtitles) it was excellent. Put me in mind of "The Pianist". Great atmosphere.

Didn't really care much for this one. Not a bad film, but not a great one either. Feels too 'Oscar friendly' and formulaic or something: very good performances, 'true story', war etc... Just didn't do anything particularly enthralling or original, and felt a little slight. Its just forgettable, and certainly not deserving of the best foreign film Oscar.
