    Hey,

Does anyone have information on UK teachers payscale? I can't find accurate info anywhere.

I'd have a years experience and a Masters - presuming that they give you more for extra qualifications..Thanks.

Firstly, you do not get extra money for having a masters.
You must be a fully qualified teacher to teach in the UK.
Also, your years experience will only be recognised if it was a full time post (i.e. above 23 hours a week in the classroom) and was for a full school year.

The payscales are different for Scotland, England & Wales and there are 2 London area payscales (inner and outer).

    England, Wales and NI:

Thanks. Wages seem good bit lower starting off than in Ireland.
