    I'm gonna have nightmares now.

These monstrosities are the direct result of the VCR Act. It seems that luminous green AEG's are not covered by the VCR Act as they are too unrealistic to be considered replicas.

I posted it just for you.

I've seen one or two of these before, but never so many ugly guns on one page. And worse still, some of them are out of stock. That means people are actually buying them!

It's like Ferrari selling a bright pink, 1 litre, 2 door hatchback. It's just wrong.

I only have one issue. Got to about page 20 before I lost interest.

Why would people buy these though? Considering they can still buy proper looking ones.

Because the VCRA dictates that anyone who wishes to buy an RIF (regular guns) must be a member of a skirmishing site before purchasing, with (I think) 3 visits in 2 months. If the person just wants to buy a gun of some description to get started with and isn't willing to wait, the two-tone guns do not fall into the category of an RIF as their bright colours denote them as clearly being airsoft guns rather that RS.

    They cant, its the vcra.

Poor bastards, but the stupid vcra is also ****ing us over when we import from Hong Kong, which it shouldn't.
    Idiotic law.

yikes..... I've seen them on that scottish site already... i think I must have decided to ignore the fact that there was a two tone, limey pukey green looking at me and carried on browsing.

Good lord, but they're awful. I understand why they're like that...but it doesn't make it less gross! :(

That said, it's still an excellent site, even doing dog tags with different colour rubber silencers. they also quote in euros so that's pretty handy.
I'm totally trying to erase that nasty green image from my mind.

I've heard a few bad things about them. There's a guy who bought an M249 from them and the drum mag broke after two days. They are refusing to fix/replace it. I admit though that I don't have all the details. Decent site though, from a cosmetic point of view.

The whole 3 skirmishes in no less than two months thing is UKARA. It's different to site registration.

Nothing in the law to tell you how to be a skirmisher :P

yowch..... that's harsh. Although, like you said, it's a decent site for all that. It seems like they actually have a sense of humour, or at least the guy who runs it does. I have no idea who the "Frenchie" character mentioned was, but he got burned on the description of the monocular for sale:o

Ah, I'm still reading into all of this in advance of my trip up to Pred. I'm assuming, then, that now standard RIF's are saleable to those without site membership?
