Got this demo on live the other day and was really surprised..... it's very good! anyone else try it out? this is definitely one for the wanted list when it's out in a few weeks! great graphics, game mechanics and story. The only thing that let it down a bit was the driving sections, which seem a bit flakey, but that will only be a small part of the finished game hopefully...

Short demo? I thought with the three different levels on offer it was one of the longest demos I've seen in a good while.

Game was interesting enough, though it felt less like a game and more like an interactive movie with you occassionally being prompted to press a button or series of buttons to keep things moving along. While Bourne's moves were awesome and cinematic, it didn't feel like *you* were responsible for the awesome moves, which takes away from the experience a bit. Still, the boss fight on the cargo plane was great fun, and I'll be keeping on eye on this one to see how the reviews pan out.

there are 3 levels of the demo, the first one I think is the best!! I love it!! :)

Its like the films the way they have the action done!! lets hope we can have online modes

Have to say I didn't like the demo, the controlls where very clunky, not smooth at all, and I didn't like the fact that half the time I wasn't in control of the charecter for the more interesting game sequences.

I did like some of the cinematic style, and the movement style which was very like the charecter in the film.

I wasn't overly impressed with the demo either....all style and no substance. Then again I was playing GTA IV just before I played the demo so no wonder it felt disappointing

Gave it a go there. Its OK I guess, but the game doesn't trust the player enough - plucks you out at key moments for irritating QTE or cutscenes. When you were about to leap out of the plane and it cut: grr. Bad design.

It is quite stylish, the combat is pretty visceral (although perhaps a bit repetitive), and the finishing moves are nicely brutal. But probably a rent not a buy.

But the driving section was dreadful. After gorging on GTA for the last month, being tunnelled down closed streets (barriers!) and scripted car chases is not a pleasant thing. And the handling feels way off and arcadey. Shame. Reminds me of those dreadful PS2 James Bond driving sections.

Overall, a game which feels too 'directed': everything is signposted, clearly tightly designed somewhere. Not always a bad thing, but here feels like a missed opportunity.

Its what the Devil May Cry series gets accused of, taking control because its afraid the player will cramp the style of the main character so you get an action movie scene instead of playing the action scene.
