    This is worth a look as a festival to head to. It's being held in the Golden Gate park in San Francisco in August. Seeing as Aer Lingus are doin a decent price on flights there and all. It's in the city too, so you're not confined to a big field for the whole weekend.
    Line-up is excellent - Radiohead, Beck, Wilco, Manu Chao, Ben Harper, Broken Social Scene.

    Only about 400 miles south, so Southwest from John Wayne will do in one-hour into SF or Oakland (but I am temporarily grounded, so could do the PCH and enjoy the sea views... and have Vet and a heavy foot too!).

    We're road trippin down from Vancouver. So we'll be comin all the way down the west coast, taking in the views and all that.
