Linux Repair in Navan

    Woman rang me today desperate to find someone who could repair a linux pc thats not booting


    her son uses it remotely from another country and she says he needs it working


    anyone interested in repairing (not rebuilding) a pc with linux installed in navan???

    not booting?

    take out floppy disk, CD out of drive, if any usb storage devices are attached unplug them too.

    start with the simple stuff.

    thanks for the replys guys, but i have refused to go near the pc as i have had very few dealings with linux, i am looking for someone willing to help out a person in navan with a linux problem, you can arrange a price before hand

    I checked this out before posting myself in a similar situation
    a few years back, and it seems OK as a one off anyway.
    Some form of statement from the mods would be a good idea.
    Maybe replace one of the ancient stickies :-)
