    Have an iPhone 1.1.4 (got from the states and unlocked) and going to set the iPod up on it, is there any particular version of iTunes that I should download for my computer. Just want to be sure I don't end of locking my iPhone.

    I would recommend the earliest possible version that supports the iphone (7.4 i think). With this you can create custom ringtones just by renaming m4a files to m4r, provided they are no longer than 30 seconds.

    In later versions of itunes this loophole was removed.

    i have an 1.1.4 iphone, got it from the states too, it has itunes and ipod on it, does any one know what ive to do to set them up and put music on it

    Just get itunes for your computer, install it, import all your music into it and then sync it with your iphone
