Something strange going on..

    Does anyone feel something very fishy is going on here..

    On Thursday, I got a mail to my second email address, an eircom.net address, titled

    Google Password Assistance..
    To initiate the process for resetting the password for your
    ****@gmail.com Google Account, visit the link below"

    I ignored it thinking it was spam of some sort.

    On Friday I got a mail from netflix.com saying my account had been updated. As far as I'm concerned, I don't have a netflix account. I didnt even know what it was. My name was not included in the netflix email..
    Dear ,

    We are sending this email to let you know that your account password has been changed. To review or change your account information, please visit Your Account.

    To reset your password, simply click click here.

    -Your friends at Netflix


    I'm just going to change my email password and hope for the best. I hope the account hasnt been cracked somehow. I never give out or share my password.

    Any thoughts?

    Ignore it, a speculative attempt to get you to enter details into a fake account - just like all those bloody fake bank e-mails.

    It's just phishing. I get about 2 or 3 of them per day.
