Could you confirm if 100% of buyins go into the prizepool?

The first one of these had longer blinds and didn't end till 11am the next morning. So next one they decide to slash the blinds and levels it ends up as a total crap shoot with the average stack at the final table around 5bb's.

I advise everyone to stay away from this. I don't like being negative but i think this casino has had a long time with enough player feedback to be getting things fcuking right.

We note your objection if you ware running the tournament how would you manage the blinds and levels ??????

you have 120 people and it finished at 11am with a very big structure (this isnt too far off normal tbh - and bare in mind you had a rebuy same size of starting stack - this being the problem. so considering you ad 20k stacks, this time of a finish is normal.)
So the next night, you think you'l get HALF the number - and even if ran as deep as last time, you would still be finished by 7am - take the stack back to 10k,with no rebuy, and leave the blind levels the same.

Instead you take out 3/4 levels and take the blinds down to 20 mins. ABSOLUTE crap shoot. Average stack on FT was 60k, with blinds going to 6/12 the next hand (no 5/10k LOL) what sorta crap is that - so everyone who is left just has to pray to get dealt a good hand, and for it to hold. With top prize of 4k, and 10/9th 250 this is a joke

Considering its a 200+20 buy in, its very unacceptable.

Also, can you confirm that there will be NO guaranteed prizepool for the next tournament? and instead an over-the-top estimation??

Last week there were 30 or so there from Belfast, and if they hadnt had travelled there would have been a massive overlay.

there's the answer to your Q of the blinds, and id appreciate it if you would also answer my Q's

In fairness, they were caught totally unawares the first time with the huge turnout. Donal has a point tho, numerous professional operators have posted their blind structure here, so plucking figures out of the air aint good enough. Maybe they should go to the Fairways event in June to see how they do things?

with 120 runners and 20k stacks, 13 hours of poker to get to the finish is very good IMO. Most with such a large stack, would actually have a two day structure for this.

So if they had a freezeout - like the last one, and just left it at 10k stacks, and considering they were imagining half the turnout - this would have MORE than sufficed.

There was no need to leave levels out and shorten the clock

why do people bother even venting an opinion here?it falls on deaf ears..this is a club that barred its most regular players because they asked "why" the dealers were stealing from them!!!€800~raked 5 handed in less than 4 hours??? it has had more managers in the past 3 years than chelsea..u gotta wonder why!!!
